Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By using WhatPlan, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What WhatPlan Is

WhatPlan is a collaborative planning tool that lets you create and share encrypted documents via permanent short URLs. It's designed to be simple, private, and work directly in your browser without requiring an account or app installation.

Your Content

You own everything you create on WhatPlan. Because your content is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot access, read, moderate, or recover it. You are responsible for:

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use WhatPlan to:

Service Availability

WhatPlan is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim to keep the service running reliably, but we make no guarantees about:

Paid Subscriptions

Where WhatPlan offers a paid subscription, its current price, billing period and included features will be shown before you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period until cancelled.

Purchases made on the web are managed through the web payment provider. Purchases made in the iOS app are managed through your Apple account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period unless the payment provider or applicable law requires otherwise.

Refund requests are handled under the payment provider's rules and your statutory rights. Deleting your WhatPlan account never cancels an Apple subscription; you must manage that through Apple. When you confirm deletion with a standard WhatPlan web subscription billed through Stripe, WhatPlan records a durable request to stop renewal at the end of the current billing period. You should check the provider's management page before deletion, and contact support if the renewal status is unclear. Any subscription held through another provider must be managed with that provider.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WhatPlan and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or content.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of WhatPlan after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
